Who can join this Tinkercad Course?
Kids from 2nd grade and above.
They need to have a laptop/desktop with a mouse and with STABLE internet connection. Ideally, they should be able to know how to use the keyboard and the mouse. Some kids that they use tactile screen their whole life will have some difficulties at the beginning to adjust to mouse. 🙂
But Stefan is very kind and has a lot of patience.
What you’ll learn:
Together with our trainer, Stefan, 9th grade, you’ll learn how to use TinkerCad, one of the most used 3D software available today, done by AutoCad.
- how to create more complex shapes
- how to use the basic shapes
- how to create complex projects – a Moon Base, a satellite the a size of an aluminum can, to compete in international contests, like this one, from European Space Agency :).

As you can imagine, the opportunity to learn Tinkercad with an expert child is quite limited worldwide.
The rule of thumb: all sessions will take place in the first part of the day for US customers (Monday-Sunday).

How many sessions are there?
There are several modules. Each module has 4 sessions of 1 hour. You will pay for each module in advance.
When you have an emergency and the child cannot enter online, you will reschedule that session with Stefan.
Who is your Tinkercad trainer?
Stefan Ferseta, 9th grade, winner of multiple prizes at national and international informatics, Tinkercad and math competitions, passionate about bio-programming and science in general.
This is Stefan at 3rd Grade, when he started to learn Tinkercad. 🙂
Why you should enlist your kid to this Tinkercad course, with a kid as a trainer?
- because it’s super-aspirational for a kid to learn from another kid, not an adult
- because it’s once in a lifetime opportunity. Stefan has a busy schedule, with a lot of international competitions, so this is the only available slot for this
- because your kid will add new skill to her/his resume
- because it’s really fun
- because they’ll probably win some prizes to international competition.
How much does it cost?
$40/hour x 4 sessions = $160/month.
The payment is via Paypal. You pay one module of 4 sessions at the time.
Stefan started to invest in stocks, so your money will help him increase his portfolio. 🙂
IMPORTANT: The Tinkercard sessions are ONE-to-ONE. So, your child will NOT be in a bucket with zillions of other childrens, learning almost nothing. He/She will get full attention.
